- To add a User Story, you will need to start by accessing the Street Board tab for your project. You will be directed to this tab after creating your Agile project; if it was created at an earlier time then you can get here by going to the Project module and selecting the projects title.Whenever an Agile project is created, the first thing you may notice is the Backlog feature. You will need to click the button to begin. This will open another window labeled “Create User Story”
- In the pop-up window, fill out the name of the User Story, a description, its priority, the team members, and attach any files or links to related User Stories. The Story Points feature is where you assign points from 0 to 100 depending on the difficulty and complexity of the project. Story Points assist project managers in determining team task load.
Once you’ve added all the desired information, you can click the blue “Save” button at the bottom of the window.
- The “Create User Story” window will disappear, and another window will pop up to show that the data has been saved successfully. You will then be able to view the user story in the Backlog box.You can move user stories from the Backlog to a sprint, or from one sprint to another. It’s as easy as clicking the user story and dragging it where you want to put it.
